Goshen County Chamber services and duties include:

Community Information Center:  The Chamber serves as the information center for Goshen County, maintaining up-to-date business and service directories, distributing relocation and recruitment packets by request.

Visitors Center:  As the host Visitor Center for Goshen County; the Chamber offers a wide range of media information showcasing tourist attractions in Goshen County, the State of Wyoming and neighboring states. In addition to print material, the Chamber maintains a website promoting tourism in Goshen County.

Goshen County Lodging Tax Board Partner:  The Chamber serves as the voice for Goshen County tourism state wide and regionally.  In partner with the Lodging Tax Board, the Chamber efforts promote Goshen County in all areas and preserve Goshen County history and tourist attractions.

Small Business Development Center Community Liaison:  The Chamber serves as the Goshen County liaison between small business owners, developing businesses and the Wyoming Small Business Development Center.  The Chamber facilitates meetings and community education through the WSBC.

Business Assistance:  It is the goal of the Chamber of Commerce to maintain and preserve business, complementing efforts by the Goshen County Economic Development Corporation in recruiting, starting and developing new businesses in Goshen County.

Public Relations for Goshen County Business and Development:  The Chamber arranges new business ribbon cuttings as well as ribbon cuttings for businesses that have relocated or remodeled. The Chamber also participates in groundbreaking and anniversary ceremonies.  This service is designed to keep the community informed of all changes and additions to the economy.

Business Referrals:  The Chamber serves as the host information center for business referrals; including but not limited to real estate, utilities, small business, service business, retail, personal banking and investments. Business cards and brochures provided by Chamber members are displayed in the Chamber office. A member directory is posted on the Chamber Web site www.goshencountychamber.com

Networking:  The Chamber Ambassadors group works with Goshen County businesses and organizations to facilitate the benefits of networking in Goshen County. Ambassadors sponsor various community activities to promote the Chamber’s mission and vision.

Goshen County Commerce:  The Chamber is constantly working to maintain, promote, encourage and preserve commerce in Goshen County. This mission of the Chamber is to keep dollars at home while promoting economic stability, vitality and diversity in Goshen County.

Community Education:  The Chamber partners with area businesses and Eastern Wyoming College with quarterly seminars on business management, employee training, sales and other additional information and topics appropriate for the business population of Goshen County.

Community Activities: The Chamber continues to welcome and recruit new events and activities in Goshen County.  These activities are designated to be beneficial for community residents, both youths and families, the agriculture industry and all businesses of Goshen County.

Chamber Member Newsletter: The monthly Chamber newsletter serves as the voice of the Chamber to members and as a host for community information and business advertising. It also serves as a communication tool for all local civic groups and organizations.

Community Calendar:  The Chamber serves as the promoter for the Community Calendar; informing the county of a great number of local activities and events.

A Face of Goshen County:  The Chamber of Commerce is at a constant in any way possible promoting commerce in Goshen County, education, relocation to the area, quality of life and tourism. The Chamber serves as the ambassador of Goshen County locally, state wide and nationally.
