Imagine your-self canoeing on the North Platte River or catching a trout, perch or walleye in our smaller streams and reservoirs! Or saddle up and ride on the prairies, canyons and mountain bluffs of Goshen County. You may even ride beneath the V’s of our Canadian Geese on their waterfowl flyway. Take time to explore historic Fort Laramie for a glimpse of the past through their living history program. You may want to participate in Cowboy Tales and Texas Trails or stand on the iron truss bridge used by the Pony Express riders and stagecoaches traveling from Cheyenne to Deadwood.

You’ll have to watch for our deer and antelope, waterfowl and upland birds but they will share their space with friendly visitors. And don’t forget to bring your golf clubs as we boast one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the region.

While in Torrington, stop by our Visitor’s Center located in the Goshen County Chamber of Commerce Building on West 21st Avenue. You will find friendly staff eager to answer your questions and help you plan you vacation.
